2021 OCMA State Pool
Championships
August 19-22, 2021
Attention
all players & teams competing in
the State tournament:
Below is a link to
the schedule of events. Please note
that Singles events that don't
finish on Thursday will resume on
Friday morning due to time
restraints on Thursday evening.
Also, they are utilizing the scoring
feature on CompuSport. I will post
and email the instructions and video
once I receive it from the OCMA.
You will need to
have a copy (either a picture or
hard copy) of your registration form
when you check in. I have posted a
digital copy of everyone's
registration forms. You can
download or screenshot your
registration form. I will also have
a copy with your sanction cards
attached at the tournament where you
check in. If you are playing in
both Singles and Team events, your
sanction card is attached to your
Singles registration form. If you
see any errors on your registration
form, don't panic...we have time to
get it corrected. Just call me and

the OCMA:
We are full-steam
ahead for OCMA’s 39th Anniversary
Pool Championships!
Even though the
delta variant is running wild, we
will not be postponing the
tournament and the Governor can no
longer “shut us down” without the
approval of the Ohio General
Assembly (and we’re pretty positive
they won’t let that happen
again.) Please note: On the
registration form it states that
masks are “mandatory”. At the time
of printing those forms, there was
an indoor mask mandate. However,
that is currently no longer the
case. But whatever the local
regulation is at the time of the
tournament, we will have to follow
that regulation.
Please note we
will be using the online scoring
feature on the CompuSport app this
year. Therefore it’s important that
players install the app on their
smartphones.
Players are asked to watch these
2 videos BEFORE the tournament
to make sure your account is set
up and you familiarize yourself
with the Electronic Scoring
System that will be used at the
tournament.
(Even if you aren't competing in
the tournament, I encourage you
to watch the videos and make
sure you have an account set up
in CompuSport because we will be
using the same Electronic
Scoring System for the upcoming
league season.)
